Abstract

This research was aimed to maintain the optimal condition in making ferro sulfat from the iron powder with the variable of sulphuric acid concentration at 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% and the duration of process at one day, two days, and three days by measuring the concentration of FeSO₄.7H₂O. The result of this research shows the optimal condition found on the sulphuric acid concentration at 25% and the duration process two days. The cristal is found 170,23 g with FeSO₄.7H₂O in level 56,87%.
